The farm is a very picturesque place, with the Galloway hills as a backdrop, planted up in the early 1920's as a shooting estate. With lots of woods, walks, a loch, and parkland to explore, you could enjoy a day out just around the farm.

The Marks is a working farm with a herd of dairy cows milked twice daily. Also now specialising in worm farming: the home of scottishworms.com. Quiet lanes to explore on your own and rides to the hills and local beaches.

You are welcome to roam the farm tracks and explore the loch and the old pier. We are on national cycle route 7 and within easy vehicle access of four of 7Stanes routes for cyclists; and the Galloway hills for walkers. Many wonderful local golf courses just waiting for you.
